Nightmare Raid

Nightmare Raid is a great way to get access to more gear. These are my personal teams for them - all of them are full auto unless otherwise mentioned. This is definitely end-game content, so I suggest moving to nightmare mode 1 boss at a time as you get better gear. This is my current teams which are fast and consistent but please refer to the other pages for more alternative heroes and teams.

Queen Azumashik

Full auto team with fast clears - only Mellona is replaceable but I haven’t tested any of the suggested heroes. Some important notes about the fight and teams:

  • 220ER needed to completely resist the Queen’s debuffs

  • 105EFF needed to land debuffs on the Queen

  • The first Alt Team is 100% clear while the 2nd one is less consistent

  • Tama is the frontline tank and most importantly she pushes the team up when the queen applies her fatigue debuff. Tome enables her to keep the team’s health up.

  • Byblis makes it possible to not run Roana in this fight as she heals the team. She gets pushed to the front after every set of counters from the adds like Hasol. Ironfan helps her cycle even more but I don’t think is required at this speed. You can build her slower with damage as well depending on who you want in the 4th slot. This level of bulk is pretty safe, ignore the CC but you’ll want 105 EFF.

  • She makes the run extremely safe although getting to the boss takes much longer. Every time the adds attack, she will essentially boost up enabling her to constantly hit with her 4.5K true damage. She really needs 200+ ER (180+20 from Shimdra’s) to prevent push back and debuffs. She’s on a HP neck and HP ring so you can better absorb the bleed damage from the team. Aurius makes it much safer as Tama can tank more.

  • Mellona is the primary damage dealer before Queen. She works well as she has immunity to prevent her from getting stunned and she adds to the damage even if she doesn’t take a turn with her AOE. Counter or destruction build would be best here. Depending on your Byblis build you can run different heroes in this slot.

  • Lermia replaces Mellona but instead of controlling the adds she kills them. The counter attacks ensure she always has S3 available and free of debuffs. Standard PVP build works, the bigger the damage the better.

  • Adin replaces Mellona as DPS but is prone to RNG due to her evasion mechanic. Her kit does make the run safer with the invincibility and she speeds up the run with her big damage. Can run MLDB or Shepard as well.

  • LRK replaces Mellona as DPS and some additional mitigation. He basically gets to S3 continuously as the queen and adds hit him. Hilag lances maximizes this to speed up the run but Crown of Glory works as well.

  • Another alternative to Mellona as DPS. He provides damage and strip with FTene artifact. His debuff counterattack doesn’t work on the adds counterattack but reduces the chances of losing Hasol at the end as he can pass the bleeds back onto the Queen. He does better in Arahakan.

Executioner Karkanis

Full auto team but winning is purely based on how well Choux counters and Fwooshes during Karkanis rage phase. Some important notes about the fight:

  • 200ER needed to completely resist the Karkanis debuffs

  • 85EFF needed to land debuffs on the Karkanis

  • The main goal is to constantly remove debuffs and enable Choux to popoff

  • If you want a safe clear, you can auto until Karkanis gains the speed buff and then you can manual on Choux’s turn. Save all the souls and just SB S1 to one-shot the boss.

  • Diene is the main healer along with providing attack buff to Choux. Diene’s own artifact could work as well. Note that Emilia will not work here as she doesn’t provide attack buff to Choux consistently and doesn’t heal as much. S3 CR push EE.

  • Elena’s main role is to cleanse debuffs and be the secondary healer with Celestine. A faster speed build would work as well. Cleanse debuff EE.

  • Brieg is more consistent than Ran as he’s bulkier and typically has EFF. He can also break the boss out of stealth with his S3. You can run him on a mitigation artifact as well.

  • Choux hits very hard with DDJ. Counter and Pen greatly increase her burst damage particularly during the rage phase. Speed build would also work but needs to be high damage. Increase FWOOSH chance EE.

Juleeve Council

Full auto team but as usual there’s some RNG during the rage phase. It’s a DPS race and an extra dual attack can make or break the run. The team is 100% if you target the right mob during the split phase (it’ll have an icon due to running a pure earth team). Some important notes about the fight:

  • 200ER needed to completely resist the Council’s debuffs

  • Debuffs are bad other than in the split phase as it gives the Council a free buff. Bellona can def break on her S3 given her natural EFF but she’s still one of the best DPS for this fight.

  • If you’re having problems dishing enough damage during the rage phase then change to manual and SB Zahhak’s S1 to reset the boss’ damage.

  • Ray is the primary cleanser and keeps the team healthy. Shimadra enhances both his heals and Destina’s. Best healer for this fight. S3 CD reduction EE.

  • Destina cleanses and heals like Ray but her revive enables a giant satefy net for the team. She allows you to run two squishy DPS and not get punished. Guardian Ice Crystal is best in slot here but Celestine could work here as well. CR push EE.

  • Giselle works well here due to her self cleanse - this is especially true when you run Roana. She does good damage and can help to push Gilias on top of giving attack buff. She needs more bulk if you don’t run Severed Horn Wand.

  • Gilias does a massive amount of damage to Council - often one-shooting her to the next phase. A normal PVP works too but best to use DDJ or another damage artifact.

  • Roana works as an alternative to Ray - she provides more healing than him but can’t cleanse. Stella Harpa helps here. Ray is safer overall.

Devourer Arahakan

Full auto team - first team is very consistent and fast. Some important notes about the fight:

  • 200ER needed to completely resist the Arahakan debuffs

  • 85EFF needed to land debuffs on the Arahakan

  • Unhealable is extremely effective as the adds will heal Arahakan when they attack

  • Aufine is the key DPS for this fight. She constantly deals AOE damage to keep the adds in check plus pushes the boss back with her S3. Elbris preferred but not required. A standard PVP Ayufine would be much better here.

  • Doris keeps the team healthy with her passive along with skills. Shimadras helps increase the team’s life steal capabilities. Can replace with Maid but I haven’t tested in this setup.

  • Suthan is the ultimate utility hero for this fight as he provides burns for the adds and unsealable against the boss. You’ll want speed, bulk and Etica’s Sceptre to maximise his S3 uptime. He gains EFF passively so 30EFF is fine.

  • Champz plays multiple roles here as a frontline tank, Arahakan DPS and spider killer. Runs are particularly fast if he gets defence broken as he’ll end up countering after every attack (adds can’t be def broken and neither can the boss during his shield phase). Fairytale artifact adds massively to his damage, particularly against Arahakan as it deals pure damage like Winter’s S3. Finally he counters when the adds die and passes speed down back to the boss which widens the damage window but a lot.

Secretary Vera

Full auto team with some RNG due to the strips and provokes from the two adds in the last two stages - sometimes you just don’t do enough damage without Cecilia’s defense break. Some important notes about the fight:

  • 200ER needed to completely resist the Vera debuffs

  • 85EFF needed to land debuffs on the Vera

  • A mono-fire team is requires so restricts hero choices massively when combined with her mechanics. You’ll want as much AOE damage as possible.

  • In order to reduce the RNG of phase 1, you should make sure all skills are available before engaging Vera. You can do this by turning off team skills on the mob before the boss.

  • As Tama is the ideal healer on Queen, you’re really only left with Hazel as the healer and attack buffer for the team. Ideally she’ll be 200 ER so potion can focus on cleansing the other units. The GAB really helps to increase the team’s damage output. She needs to be in the frontline and faster than everyone else on the team.

  • As Haste is built for Rift might as well use him here. He has a bunch of debuffs to make phase 2 a breeze. You have to make sure his S3 is up for the encounter as that’s his only AOE. You can use any artifact.

  • She is the primary DPS with her dual attacks along with secondary healing using her bloodstone. Her strip and speed buffs for the team help maximize the team’s overall damage.

  • Mercedes is the best DPS for this fight as all her spells are AOE and the counters add a ton of damage. Any damage build is fine here.

  • Tenebria is cute but also another great AOE hero against Vera. Her main advantage the additional def break and control of the adds in Phase 2 and 3. DPS build is recommended to maximize your chances during phase 2. Teatime artifact helps her cycle her skills and maximize def break uptime. Ideally she should be slower than Hazel so she doesn’t get silenced turn 1.
